QuickTools™ assembles in seconds.  You simply thread the QuickTools™ skewer into the rear hub as shown in step 1, mount the QuickTools™ handle onto the handle-engaging end cap as shown in 2-3 (note: remove the removable Allen key in order to facilitate mounting) and close the QuickTools™ handle by turning it to the position shown in step 4.  Adjust closing force of the handle with adjustable end cap as you would on a conventional quick release mechanism.

QuickTools™ provides the functionality of a standard quick release mechanism while providing a readily utilizable multi-tool which includes five of the most commonly used bicycle tools - 4 and 5 mm allen wrenches, a phillips head screwdriver, a chain tool and a spoke wrench (2 sizes).

QuickTools™ replaces a standard quick release mechanism and thus forms an integral part of the bicycle thereby adding only several grams to its weight while ensuring that you never forget to carry a multi-tool on a ride.
